What are the powertrain options for the Ram 2500?

The base engine for the Ram 2500 is the HEMI 5.7-liter V8 VVT. This engine does not only come with a six-speed automatic transmission, but Heavy Duty Engine Cooling, and a Next Generation Engine Controller. This 5.7-liter powertrain can create 383 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. One of the other powertrains available is the HEMI 6.4-liter V8 that also comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and produces 429 lb-ft of torque and 410 horsepower.
